Professor Christopher Gill (Exeter) will be giving a paper at York Philosophy Department’s Colloquium on 5 March 2014
Provisional title: “What can we learn from the Stoics about integrity and what can we teach them?”
4.15-6.00pm, Sally Baldwin Building A, room 009.
The talk is billed as involving “ancient philosophy fun, with a promise of some ancient-contemporary dialogue”. It should be fun!
For those outside of or new to York, a bus goes directly from the railway station to this part of the university (it’s the ‘Wentworth’ stop, just before the ‘university library’ stop).
