The next meeting of the Yorkshire Ancient Philosophy Network (YAPN) within the White Rose Centre for the History of Philosophy (CHiPhi) will be in Leeds, on Friday 19th October, 2017, 10am-5pm, at the IDEA Centre, 17 Blenheim Terrace, University of Leeds. LS2 9JT. We will go for drinks and dinner afterwards.

Drinks – time permitting – will be at the Nation of Shopkeepers (at the corner of Great George Street and Cookridge Street), and Dinner will be from about 6.30pm at tbc (walking distance from the station).

There is no charge, and although turning up on the day is ok, the tradition of the group is for papers to be pre-read, and the bulk of time devoted to discussion. * the dinner (but not drinks) will be subsidised by the Centre for the History of Philosophy for postgraduate students and staff of the Universities of Leeds, Sheffield, Hull and York, as well as for speakers.
Similarly, the White Rose Centre for the History of Philosophy (CHiPhi) will be able to reimburse travel between the White Rose universities for staff and students of those institutions (i.e. to Leeds from York or Sheffield).
