YAPN Autumn 2017 Meeting – 24th November, Leeds

The next meeting of the Yorkshire Ancient Philosophy Network (YAPN) within the White Rose Centre for the History of Philosophy (CHiPhi) will be in Leeds, on 24th November, 2017, 9.30am-5pm, at the IDEA Centre, 17 Blenheim Terrace, University of Leeds. LS2 9JT. We will go for drinks and dinner afterwards.

YAPN (CHiPhi) Meeting Dates 2016-17

The YAPN (CHiPHi) Meeting Dates and Venues for 2016-17 are as follows:

  • 25th November, 2016. Hull. (contact: Antony Hatzistavrou)
  • 24th March, 2017. Leeds. (contact: Jamie Dow)
  • 9th June, 2017. Sheffield. (contact: Steve Makin)

Further details about each of these will be available on the website, via our email distribution list (contact Jamie Dow if you wish to be added), and usually on Philos-L and Classicists lists.

They will follow our usual format of a morning reading group (~9.30/10am-12.30pm), followed by an afternoon set of 2 or 3 papers, usually pre-read (~1.30-4.30/5pm). We usually go out for a drink and/or dinner afterwards, for those able to stay.
